Dana Rockey, D.M.D.

Dr. Rockey's basic approach to dentistry is to imbue it with aesthetics. It is important to him that your mouth be healthly, that your teeth look how you want and that your smile is winning and natural.

He is a dentist that is skilled and knowledgeable, using the latest and correct techniques to make sure your experience is a gentle one and that the work is of the highest quality and enduring. He has the artistic and procedural skills necessary for patients who require extensive dentistry or cosmetic enhancements. He cares about his patients and always takes the time to listen to what they have to say.

Dr. Rockey received his Bachelors Degree in biological sciences from UC Irvine in 1977. He began his dental career in 1984 after graduating from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Rockey has enjoyed establishing practices and practicing dentistry in Burbank and San Marino prior to 2003, when a new opportunity presented itself here in Southern Orange County. Dr. Rockey, his wife, Peggy Anne and their twin sons, Griffin and Skyler, reside in the local south county area. He enjoys the opportunity to live in such a wonderful community and to practice the high level of dentistry he has trained for and believes in.

• Dr. Rockey is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society.
• Dr. Rockey has previously held memberships in the Academy of CAD/CAM Dentistry and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
• Dr. Rockey was recently selected as one of the dentists in the "Top Doc LA" program.
• Dr. Rockey was voted most popular dentist in the city in which he previously practiced.
• Dr. Rockey is currently a Board member of the BellTower Foundation here in Rancho Santa Margarita. He is a supporter of many local school and club sports teams as well as numerous benefits and charities.
   

Jon L. Parker, D.D.S.

Jon L. Parker, D.D.S. grew up in Sonora, CA and has been practicing dentistry for over thirty years. He graduated from the University of the Pacific in 1979 and did his residency at UCSF / S.F.V.A Hospital.

Dr. Parker relocated to Orange County less than ten years ago after twenty five years in solo practice in Northern California. He has been married to Laura for thirty years and they have two grown children, a son Max and a daughter Vanessa.

Dr. Parker has worked in our practice, one day a week, Fridays, for over five years. We feel very fortunate to have him working for us considering he has his own full time dental practice in Laguna Beach, where he lives. He says it's a good excuse to make the commute, to beautiful Rancho Santa Margarita, on one of his beloved Ducati motorcycles.

Front Office

Holly

Holly grew up in Washington State. After completing her training in cosmetology she graduated with her VOCA license. But, like the rest of our staff, she soon heard the beckoning call of Dentistry. With that, Holly has worked in or managed dental offices for over twenty years, and in our office for almost fifteen years.

Holly enjoys any activity outdoors, including golf, running, hiking and bird watching. She also enjoys decorating and watching baseball, especially the New York Yankees.

Jennifer

Jennifer was raised in California. She began her dental career as a dental assistant in 1991 and earned her Registered Dental Assistant license in 1994. Given that Jennifer drives over an hour to get to our office, we are grateful she has worked in our office for over five years. Nearly all of that time has been spent doing front office duties.

Although in a previous life you could find Jennifer skiing and teaching snowboarding, her current passion is the raising of, the caring for and the showing of miniature horses. This love has taken her and her husband across the country to collect the numerous awards they have won.
 

Back Office

Karina

Karina grew up in Guatemala and moved to California in 1991. She obtained her Registered Dental Assistant License in 1994 after attending UCLA. She currently holds the more advanced Registered Dental Assistant Extended Functions License. She has been practicing in the dental field for over fifteen years.

Karina is married and she and her husband live in Lake Elsinore. It is there that she and her husband are very involved with their church, especially with the youth, music, and Sunday school programs. She happily parents two dogs and a bird named Alex.

Karen

Karen grew up in Fountain Valley, California. After she graduated from Saddleback College with an AA degree, she studied for and obtained her Registered Dental Assistant license. Karen earned her RDAEF (extended functions) credential from UCLA in 2005.

She also holds an AA degree, along with X-ray and Coronal Polishing licenses. Karen has been practicing in the dental field for thirty years.
Karen is married with two collegiate children. She enjoys water skiing, camping and going to dinner and a movie with her husband.

About her job, Karen says, "I enjoy working with people and have met many wonderful patients. It's so rewarding for me to be part of a group that helps patients achieve healthy and beautiful smiles."

 

Ofelia

Ofelia was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. In 1987, she was a graduate of Our Lady of Fatima University, in Manila, earning her BS degree in nursing. Shortly after, she moved to the United States to work as a nurse and study dental assisting at Orange Coast College. Once she graduated from Orange Coast in 1989 as a Dental Assistant, she has worked at both professions since.

Ofelia is married and has two children. She is involved with her church and the local community. She enjoys running, mountain biking, cooking and reading spiritual books. Wellness is her passion.

Hygienists

JoEllen

Jo Ellen grew up in Walpole, Massachusetts. She attended Boston University, Northeastern University and the Forsythe School for Dental Hygiene. In the process she earned her Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene Credentials, along with an AA Degree and her BA in Health Sciences. In 1988 she moved to California and obtained her California Registered Dental Hygiene License in 1989. Jo Ellen has been practicing in the dental field for over thirty years.

Jo Ellen is married with three children. She is also the proud parent of three dogs. She loves traveling, with cruising being her preference. She, of course, is a huge Boston Red Sox fan.

Mary

Mary is a California native who grew up in Rossmoor and Los Alamitos, California. She graduated from Cypress College in 1994 with an AS Hygiene Certificate Degree. She has been practicing in the dental field over fifteen years.

Mary has been married to her husband Pat, a real estate broker, for forty years, and has two grown children. She and her husband enjoy traveling, especially by cruise ship, and are very involved with their church, The Self-Realization Fellowship. Her hobbies include swimming, calligraphy, reading and cooking. She has a cat Zara.

Shelley

Shelley attended Dental Hygiene school at West Los Angeles College and graduated in 1988 with her Registered Dental Hygiene Degree. She did her clinical work at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Shelley has been practicing in the dental field for more than twenty years.

Health and wellness are Shelley's passion. In her free time, you will find her at the gym or on the soccer field. She lives in Ladera Ranch with her husband and three children.
